RAW MATERIAL & SUSTAINABLE SOURCING

HOW DO WE REDUCE OUR CO2 EMISSIONS?
We strive to reduce our CO2 emissions by saving valuable energy in our production through an efficient formulation design as well as through product formats that bring an extra reduction of CO2 emissions (e.g. foam application vs aerosol, discontinuation of metallization)
HOW DO WE OFFSET OUR REMAINING CO2 EMISSIONS?
ClimatePartner is the chosen strategic partner of Kao AEMEA for all carbon emission compensation projects at packaging, product, brand or regional level.

WHAT DOES BIODEGRADABILITY STAND FOR?
Biodegradation is the degradation of a product by microorganisms into intermediate materials and simpler substances such as water, carbon dioxide and basic elements. Ingredients that biodegrade very quickly (acc. to OECD guideline) are called biodegradable
WHAT DOES NATURAL ORIGIN INDEX (NOI) STAND FOR?
Short NOI. Indicates the content of either natural ingredients, naturally derived ingredients or mineral derived ingredients. (According to ISO 16128)
