We are conscious about our carbon footprint. This is why all KERASILK products have been certified climate neutral by ClimatePartner.

To become climate neutral we measure our carbon emissions, actively reduce them as much as possible and compensate any remaining ones to zero.

Being committed to climate neutrality, we will be continuously reducing our carbon emissions in the future.

WHAT DOES CLIMATE NEUTRALITY MEAN?

Climate neutral = Often also called ‘carbon neutral’, describing the reduction and compensation of carbon emissions to Zero, but scientifically ‘climate neutral’ refers to all greenhouse gases, not only carbon dioxide.

HOW DO WE ACHIEVE CLIMATE NEUTRALITY?

We are achieving climate neutrality for all products by monitoring, reducing and offsetting product related CO₂ emissions via equivalent support of a CO₂ climate protection project with ClimatePartner.

HOW DO WE REDUCE OUR CO₂ EMISSIONS?

We strive to reduce our CO₂ emissions by saving valuable energy in our production through an efficient formulation design as well as through product formats that bring an extra reduction of CO₂ emissions (e.g. foam application vs aerosol, discontinuation of metallization)

HOW DO WE OFFSET OUR REMAINING CO₂ EMISSIONS?

ClimatePartner is the chosen strategic partner of Kao AEMEA for all carbon emission compensation projects at packaging, product, brand or regional level.

Our vegan formulas indicating that our formulations do not contain any animal derived ingredient / raw material.

WHAT DOES BIODEGRADABILITY STAND FOR?

Biodegradation is the degradation of a product by microorganisms into intermediate materials and simpler substances such as water, carbon dioxide and basic elements. Ingredients that biodegrade very quickly (acc. to OECD guideline) are called biodegradable

WHAT DOES NATURAL ORIGIN INDEX (NOI) STAND FOR?

Short NOI. Indicates the content of either natural ingredients, naturally derived ingredients or mineral derived ingredients. (According to ISO 16128)
